Digestion - Videos (Please Wait for Download)

Digestion
The gastrointestinal tract or digestive system (also called alimentary canal) is mucous membrane-lined tube which is designed to breakdown food and absorb it and from which the wastes are eliminated.

The digestive system is the core to all well being. Through the digesti
ve system nutrients are absorbed which are the building blocks to every cell in the body.

If the fuel put into the body is not suitable or substandard then the result is degeneration of the digestive system as well the development of many diseases.

BioResonance can help with the many different problems which occur with the Digestive System. It will repair the Digestive lining as well as help with absorption of nutrients.

Constipation is common within the general population. Constipation refers to infrequent bowel movements that are often hard to pass. Constipation is one of the most common causes of painful defecation. There can be many causes of constipation the main reason is a poor diet with little fiber content. At worst can also be due to bowel obstructions, or colon disease both of which are generally tracked back to a fiber deficient diet.

Unfortunately some of the very treatments for constipation can exacerbate the condition over a longer term – such as laxatives and enemas because it creates dependency.

Diarrhea (also spelled diarrhoea), is the condition of having three or more loose or liquid bowel motions per day. There are many different causes from infections from pathogens (bacteria, virus, fungus and parasites); food intolerances; or autoimmune problems such as inflammatory bowel diseases (often triggered by food allergies), or by colon cancer, and enteritis
There is normally a loss of fluids through diarrhea which can cause dehydration and electrolyte imbalances.

Crohn's disease (also called regional enteritis) is an inflammatory disease of the digestive system that may affect any part from mouth to anus, causing a wide variety of symptoms. It mainly causes abdominal pain, diarrhea, even bleeding if severe, vomiting, or weight loss. Crohn's disease may also cause other complications such as skin rashes, arthritis, tiredness, eye inflammation, and normally there is a lack of focus or concentration.
Once again the link to diet is critical in relation to this condition.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS, or spastic colon) is a disorder characterized by chronic abdominal pain, significant discomfort, and bloating, as well as alteration of bowel habits without any detectable structural cause. Sometimes the symptoms are relieved by bowel movements. Diarrhea and/or constipation are typical characteristics. There are many causes of IBS, most commonly it is food related, it can be exacerbated by stress, and pathogens especially parasitic infection. It creates a situation of malabsorption of nutrients which leads to further disease.

Hemorrhoids (also known as piles) are inflamed vascular structures in the anal canal. They normally help with the passage of stools. When inflammation is severe it can be very painful, irritated and itchy especially if the stools are hard and even bleed if the membrane is damaged. Often constipation, or even severe diarrhea can trigger the formation of hemorrhoids.

External hemorrhoids are those that occur at the end of the anal canal (distal end) whereas Internal hemorrhoids are those that occur inside the rectum.
Internal hemorrhoids are usually not painful because this area lacks pain receptors, and because of this most people are not aware that they have them. Internal hemorrhoids, however, can bleed when irritated.

Gastric or Acid reflux is essentially stomach acid moving up the esophagus from the stomach, giving you the sensation of heartburn.
Acid reflux occurs when the valve which separates the stomach from the esophagus is not functioning as it should. Lifestyle choices such as fast-foods, overeating, drinking and smoking have a significant impact in creasing acid reflux and if left unchecked can develop into the more serious conditions of ulcers and hiatus hernia.
